Which format should I choose?
MP3 plays everywhere. M4A (AAC) gives good quality at a small size and suits Apple devices. Opus makes the smallest files for speech. WAV is uncompressed and the largest, which is useful for editing.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit, but the conversion happens in your browser's memory, so very large files (about 250 MB or more) can be slow or fail on phones.
Why can't my video be converted?
The video needs an audio track to extract. Most common MP4, WebM and MOV files work; a file with no sound has nothing to convert.
