Questions and answers
Why is the location not exactly where I am?
IP locations come from network registries. They usually point to your provider's city or region, not to your street address.
Why do I see a different IP when my VPN is on?
Websites see the IP of the VPN server, not your own connection. This page shows that same address, which makes it a quick way to check that your VPN works.
Can I look up a domain name?
Yes. Enter a domain such as example.com and the tool looks up the IP address it points to.
